A low empire line, pure silk swing top. This design is based on an original 1920s fashion detail but updated into a modern sleeved style, this top is perfect for some luxurious lounging. It can be worn with or without its waist tie making it truly versatile and would also make a wonderful evening outfit option, true underwear as outwear.
The neckline is decorated with exquisite french lace, appliqued onto the silk to create a light and delicate decorative feature. I use lace off-cuts from other designs for this, so the pattern pieces selected will be individual to each top, your top will be truly unique. All the seams are french seamed for a luxurious finish.
The waist fit is very loose, so please go off your bust size when choosing your fit. As a guide please use: 8: 32", 10: 34", 12: 36", 14: 38", 16: 40", 18:42", 20:44", 22:46" Please contact me about custom sizing.
This top goes perfectly with the rest of my Sarah range, or any of my Collection No. 1 if ordered in ivory or black. The ivory is a sand-washed satin, matching my Emmeline Ivory Tap-pants, and so has a more matte finish.
This item is hand wash only to preserve the silk, you will receive care instructions with you order, please follow them.
