An image of a woman wearing the bamboo silk indigo tap pants, shot from the back. The tap pants fasten with a bow at the centre back and there is a small triangular opening below it. The indigo dye is scattered across the fabric at random, creating an abstract feel. Her hands are on her hips. She also wears the Lily bralette with silk covered straps.
An image shot from below showing the side front of the indigo tap pants. The fabric falls in soft folds from the waist. The front is plain in style, leaving the pattern of the indigo dye to be the main feature. The model also wears the Lily bralette in off white cotton tulle.
A close up of the bow that fastens the bamboo indigo tap pants. It extends out of the waistband and leaves a triangular opening beneath it showing some of the lower back. The image shows the beautiful variation in tone in the patches of indigo dye against the off white base fabric.

Bias cut, naturally dyed tap pants that provide a stunning fit and flow in vegan bamboo silk fabric. The waist has a functional bow for a versatile fit and the back has a cheeky V to add a modern twist. These are an adapted design taken from an original pair of 1930's knickers; they have true vintage roots with a classic and minimal modern finish.

Made in collaboration with Cocoon. The indigo is a fragment dye; the cacao husk and avocado are solid colours. There will be some variation in colour as each pair is individually hand dyed making it truly individual. Please get in touch about fragment dyes in the Avocado or Cacao Husk/solid colour in Indigo.

I can also provide a version of these without the bow for a more everyday piece. Please get in touch if this interests you.

The fabric is Oeko-Tex 100 certified as being free form harmful chemicals (The chemicals used to convert bamboo to 'silk' are used to make both paper and soap). Liahren produces this bamboo silk in a closed loop system in China. I use the Organic Textile Company as my supplier, please visit their website for more information. This item is sewn with Scanfil organic cotton thread on my reconditioned 1960s sewing machine.
